Perfume Paradise

Yesterday was such a lazy Sunday afternoon. With the cool wind gushing through our windows, the sound of the rain and the sight of Stacy in her pajamas sleeping beside me, I was so close to snuggling beside her and catching my own Zzzzs, but then I thought, it was the perfect time to clean and rearrange my stuff while Stacy was busy dreaming (I have no intentions of presenting my twin as the magulo and makalat one….haha!).

See my perfume rings in the front row? :)
It never occurred that I am a perfume- kind- of- person until I gathered all perfume bottles that I have in my room. All of a sudden, it brought back memories of places from where I purchased each of 'em… I mean from where MY Mom purchased those perfumes for me and Stacy, hehe J One perfume reminded me of an annoying experience that I had when I went to the perfume section of a department store in Ortigas. Store clerks hardsell their perfume products that you would hear them say “Ma’am, try our perfume!” or “Ma’am, bagong labas 'to ng Gucci, try nyo!” while waving the perfume sample on your face whenever you passby their booths. One sales clerk even sprayed a strong, disgusting scent while I was passing by and triggered my rhinitis in the middle of shopping! At that time, I had no choice but to buy a bottle of fragrance because of the freebie that goes with it (yeah....talk about marketing strategy).

It’s so different when you go to Hong Kong or Singapore. They have exclusive stores with high-end feel manned by elegant perfume experts ready to assist scent addicts such as myself. No wonder whenever my aunt goes there, she would always give us bottles of perfume as pasalubong. Aside from the fact that it’s cheaper there, they offer lots of perfume brands that are not being offered in our local stores. Having these in mind, a facebook page which I recently saw suddenly popped in my head - Fresh Fragrance Bar.

I asked my mom if we could swing by the store before we head to the dinner meeting in the area because the last time we went to Eastwood Mall for the Tokyo Posh Launch, we weren't able to check out the store due to the hectic schedule back then. Finally, the moment has arrived and it felt like heaven!

Fresh Fragrance Bar  is paradise!
They have all the brands that I love – Gucci, Lacoste, Anna Sui, Lanvin, D&G, Ferragamo, Azzaro, Swarovski, Versace, Escada and a lot more!

It's so hard to choose!

The Perfume Specialists were so friendly too! I took my sweet time, checking out one perfume after the other and they were so accommodating! They even helped my mom choose her favorite fragrance as well.

hmmmm..... sweet scent!

Thanks to the Perume Specialists of Fresh Fragrance Bar! Now I know the kind of fragrance that suits me best!
I don't even have to go to HK or SG, or even Dutyfree just to buy perfume! As my mom says “Your scent completes your style, it’s the exclamation point to your fashion statement”. So how about you? What is your type of fragrance?

Plump Love,
