We've been LIMED!

My sister and I loooove street food. So you can just imagine our excitement when we first got to try dining at Lime 88 in Mandaluyong. Tucked in the busy streets of Tiger City, we were able to discover the awesome food and kanto-glam ambiance of this 6-year old restaurant which offers Pinoy style "street food with a twist". In their own words, they serve "street food na pina-sosyal".

mah hungreh family all ready to eat!

Laughing our butts off in our private room;
I love the old, Pinoy house vibe of the place.

LET THE FEAST BEGIN (WARNING, NAKAKALULA ANG PAGKAIN)!!! We are so lucky that we were the first ones they served their new menu to!

Tuna sashimi with wasabi creme and orange segments with soy calamansi

The sashimi was extremely juicy and fresh. It was soooo GOOOOOOOD!!!

Crispy tuna and Skyflakes with aioli
Just like my favorite croquettes, but made with Skyflakes crackers. YUM!

Sushi style crispy adobo flakes with chicken liver pate

I love this!!! The crispy adobo flakes with the saltiness of the seaweed is just divine :P

Twisted kangkong with quail egg topped with hollandaise

Indian platter with garlic yogurt and pappadam
SOOO GOOOD!
The meat of the beef and chicken were cooked to perfection and the dip was just goes so well with 'em!

Crispy tilapia with salsa and hollandaise
My mom's favorite! She's a pescetarian. :)

Crispy dinuguan

They could've made the innards crispier, but the blood stew is very tasty and gooood

Creamy garlic tuyo pasta
This pasta is definitely a must-try!
The pasta was al dente and the sauce was very delectable but not nakakaumay.

Stacy looks empacho-wated XD

Chicharong bulaklak and isaw pizza - A MUST-TRY FOR ALL THE ISAW LOVERS OUT THERE!
ONE OF THE BEST PIZZAS IN TOWN!
The isaw was fried to crisp perfection and the dough of the pizza was just right--not to crispy, not too soft.

They also let us try the dishes from their sister restaurant, Kanto Breakfast! All dishes served in this karinderya resto is below Php100.00.

WHO KNEW GOYA TASTED THIS GOOD?

French toast with whipped eggs and bacon

Hash browns with poached egg topped with hollandaise and pesto tomato
The classic tapsilog

Finally, just when we were all experiencing food coma, the waiters served their cocktails!

Brown sugar daddy and lychee martini

Apple cinnamon martini -- tangy and sweet! So refreshing!

THE BEST AND ONLY CHOCNUT MARTINI IN THE WORLD!!!!

Scramble--their bestseller in their drinks menu!
