OotD + Live Interview with DJ Suzy! :)

Mabuhay Plumpies! ;)

The past Monday, we did a live (and random, and fun, and a bit raucous) interview via Ustream with DJ Suzy, one of the hot and awesome radio jocks of the station that offers today's best music--Magic 89.9!

If you missed it, watch below! Although Danah wasn't able to click on the record button right from the beginning (grrrrr), so this video is missing the first ten minutes of the interview. :( Not to worry though, we'll definitely be doing more live interviews/shows so just keep checking out the blog and our Facebook page for future updates on live streams!

This is the first ever live interview we did and we prefer to keep it as real and casual as we could, so it's very informal, and the topics we discussed were all spontaneous and random--which always spells FUN if you ask me! ;)

Most of our readers can't believe that we only met DJ Suzy on the night of the interview, but it's true. She's just extremely friendly and bubbly, it's so hard not to be really comfortable around her instantly! ;)

Outfit of the Day:
I'm bringing ponchos back, yeah!

Never thought I could pull off ponchos! :D I saw this knitted thing on Forever 21 last weekend, and I wasn't too sure if I liked it or not--until I tried it on. :) I can't wait to mix and match it with all of my other clothes, specifically dresses!

I am also diggin' Esprit tank tops because they're all padded, so I was able to actually chuck my bra back to my drawer and go out of the house braless, with the security that what doesn't need to be seen by the public will remain unseen!!! WHOOHOOOHAPPINESSANDFREEDOM!

I love these wedges! They're so comfy to walk around in, and the style is so chic and classy. If you still don't know by now, Chocolate Schu Bar offers a variety of beautifully designed shoes up to size 10/11! :D (Yep, my feet are plus sized too!) The shoes are Danah's by the way. One of the many things I love about having a twin--my clothes and shoes automatically double in quantity! :D

More outfit posts to come this weekend! ;)

Keep loving your beautiful self,
Stacy

OoTD: Working Girl

It's been too long!!! I missed blogging! And of course I missed sharing my outfits with all of you, plumpies! :)

Forgive the long absence, I've just got a new job and I'm still learning how the system works and how to do what they hired me for! :D

Anyway, here's my working girl outfit, though it's not really mandatory that we always be in a corporate attire in the office. And it's one of the many (many, many many) things I really like about the culture of the company that I work for--we can be smart casual, or just plain casual when it comes to what we wear. In short, we're free to dress up however we want for work--but still maintaining a certain level appropriateness, of course. ;)

Jealous? Don't be! :) You can get your very own Cambridge Satchel bag at Chocolate Schu Bar stores!

I love my red Cambridge Satchel! (I had it when I was still a brunette, by the way. I don't know why all of a sudden I'm into the color red. I guess I just really like how it brings spice to any outfit--and look as for my hair!) I got a 15-inch so it can fit all my necessities that I bring to work everyday-- from my laptop, notebook, connector cords and documents to personal essentials like my make up, wipes, and wallet. The leather messenger bag has an adjustable shoulder strap designed like a belt (just like the opening straps), so you can set it to the length of your own choice.

Honestly, I've been using this bag since the very first day of work, and everywhere I go people notice and compliment me on it! :) It's really a great bag that comes in different bright and popping colors that makes it so eye-catching! There are multiple of sizes to choose from too, which means there's a satchel perfect for everyone! And yes, that includes guys too. ;)

Interested in getting your own satchel? Visit Chocolate Schu Bar's Facebook page or read their blog to know the different sizes and colors available! ;)

Oh and before I go, I just wanna show you my new (and ONLY) raincoat! My mom bought it for me during her recent trip to Hong Kong, and when I first saw it, I just chucked it in my drawer in the office, not knowing that it will be my one of my can't-live-without things. Moms really do know best, because it's the wet season again, and this raincoat couldn't have been given to me at a better time! I'm sure it will be very much used in the weeks, or even months, to come (specially during lunch breaks when we hunt for places to eat at)! :) I commend my mom for getting better in choosing styles of the stuff she buys for us. HEEHEE ;D Thanks mom! I love the coat and I love you!

On our way home on a rainy Thursday night

Never undervalue who you are,
Stacy

P.S. I will blog a tutorial about how I went from being a brunette to a red head soon! ;)

OoTD: School's Out!!!

Today was the last day of hell week. And I have finally escaped. So long school!!! I'm finally free from your confinement!

With that, I deem this song appropriate for my sentiments. B)

Well we got no class
And we got no principals
And we got no innocence
We can't even think of a word that rhymes

School's out for summer
School's out forever
School's been blown to pieces

No more pencils
No more books
No more teacher's dirty looks

Out for summer
Out till fall
We might not go back at all

School's out forever
School's out for summer
School's out with fever
School's out completely!!!

Here's my outfit of the day. I thought today was the best day to wear a schoolgirl-inspired outfit since it's the last and final day of classes. (YAAAAAAAY!!! I CANNOT WAIT TO PARTY AND UNWIND THIS WEEKEND!!!)

Top Dorothy Perkins Skirt F21 Shoes Chocolate Schu Bar

My current favorite accessory! Got it from Forever 21.

I love these sandals from Chocolate Schu Bar! It's so comfy and I'm so happy that they actually have shoes up to my size--which is size 10!!! Shoe shopping has always been a problem for me and Danah because most shoes in the market only extend up to a US size 9 (40) which I desperately try to force my feet into. It's such relief to know that one of the most stylish shoe brands in the Metro cater to girls with big feet! ;)

Honestly, I don't really like my hairstyle now, but I don't really hate it either. *straight face* Ya'll know well that I always get my hair done by Azta Urban Salon (Eastwood branch), but since I was in such a rush to get my bangs trimmed for the PFW event, I just headed to a nearby salon somewhere in our neighborhood. The hair cutter chopped my bangs waaaay shorter than I told him to, hence the full bangs. And because I've decided and committed to growing my hair long for a change, having it cut again to fix the damage is not an option (although there are days that I am itching to!!!). Oh well, gotta work with what I've got. ;)

Have a great weekend, plumpies!!! I KNOW I WILL! Awwwyeaaaaaah! B)

Keep loving yourself (whether you like your hair or not),
Stacy
