Figaro has expanded their menu once again--and we're here to give our piece on their newly added dishes! :)
Beef Tapa Supreme
Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy Figaro's tapsilog. The only okay (it was just okay, I can't say it was good) part about it were the egg and the garlic rice. The sunny side up was cooked the way I liked it, with the yolk runny after breaking it as I mashed it with the garlic rice.
What was disappointing was the tapa itself, which shouldn't be the case because it's the main star of the whole dish. The upside was, the beef's marinade was very tasty--in fact, it was delicious. But the tenderness--or lack thereof--of the meat massacred the beef, overall. It was very hard to chew, making me put my spoon and fork to rest before I even got to finish the meal.
All in all, I give Figaro's tapsilog a 2/5.
Marinated Boneless Bangus
The fish was marinted lightly, leaving it with a very natural taste. The size is just right for the meal, and it was cooked crispy to a golden brown. I don't usually eat the skin of the Bangus, but this time it's different! It was good! Again, the rice and the sunny-side-up egg were a perfect combination for this dish.
I give their Bangsilog a 4/5 (only because I like my Bangus extra sour and salty from the marinade)!

Calzone
Contrary to the first review, I have nothing negative to say about this turnover. I just loved Fiagro's calzone! The dough was baked to perfection--it was very soft and it wasn't too thick or too thin. The meaty filling was mixed with a right amount of cheese--very tasteful and delicious! I added a lot of hot sauce as I devoured the calzone to add that extra kick! YUMMYYYYYYY!
I give Figaro's calzone 5/5!
Truffle Eclair
The whipped cream, the truffle-flavored milk chocolate coating on top (dusted with a bit of cocoa powder), plus the tender bread = A LIGHT AND FLUFFY MUST-TRY DESSERT! Everything complements each other, no part of it overpowered the other one. I liked it!
