Bloggers United: An Interactive Shopping Affair
Good day, plumpies!
I know this post is a little overdue, but I am still hungover with excitement and joy in telling you all about the Bloggers United event because it was a huge success! Despite the threats of it being cancelled due to the very uncooperative weather and the heavy rain during the afternoon, a lot of shoppers, blog hoppers, and supporters alike still came! HOORAZ!
The founders of Bloggers United, Melai Entuna, Ana Gonzales, and Aisa Ipac, are all laudable for putting together such a wonderful interactive event! Everyone who came, whether a shopper or a blogger, was so giddy and friendly, making the aura of the place extremely fun and casual. It was like everyone knew everyone and we were all just one big, ginormous barakada! :)
Personally, I love yard sales and thrift stores because other than quirky, unique finds and really cheap prices, it's a way of recycling too. That's why when we got invited to be a part of BUB, we just instantly said yes! :)
Anyway, here are the photos we took (some are grabbed), last week, May 27th, from the uber fun Bloggers United Bazaar (BUB)!
The Plump Pinay Booth!
I was alone during the first few hours in our booth because Danah wasn't feeling well during the morning... :\
A hodgepodge of items that we sold in the bazaar:
Limited edition Wonder Woman by Mac cosmetics
Our pre-loved blingz
The cute plump (baked-clay) necklaces!!!
Danah with make-up artist Marj Sia, flaunting the necklaces!
Some of our used clothes
Ever since high school, I started keeping all the paper bags I get whenever I go shopping. I didn't know why I was keeping it all then, but now I'm really glad I did because I get to be resourceful! We used these recycled shopping bags as our takeaway bags. ;)
A huge wave of shoppers!
Our other cool (blogger) friends who participated in the event:
With a major fashion blogger, Kookie Buhain! I adore her style.
Danah with fellow Forever 21 Brand Ambassador, Patricia Prieto :)
With another fellow Brand Ambassador, the stylishly laid-back David Guison
Chinky-eyed people unite! With the very talented fashion blogger, Tricia Gosingtian :)
(Mr. Fu walks by)Danah: OH MY GOSH IS THAT...?!?! *star struck* (walks over to Mr. Fu)Are you Mr. Fu?Mr. Fu: Oo.Danah: OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH PA-PICTURE!!!!!!!!!Mr. Fu: MEHGANON?!I love it. :)) Sucks that I wasn't able to have a photo taken with him, guess I got star struck too!

US GOING WILD TO KEEP THE ENERGY LEVEL OF EVERYONE HIGH!!!
The Plump Pinays at BUB: With our dear grandma who helped us out during the bazaar! We love you Mama Noem!
When it was downtime at our booth, I went around and was able to snag these really cool animal rings from Anagon Collection by Ana Gonzales! They're my new favorite!
Danah and I are really thankful to all our supporters who came to see us and talk to us! :) Thank you so much plumpies, you are all very dear to us and we really appreciate you all. Now to those who unfortunately were not able to make it, don't worry. I'm sure this will not be the last BUB. ;)
We will still sell the MAC Wonder Woman cosmetics, I Love My Body shirts and PLUMP necklaces (in bold and curvy fonts) here on the site, though it may take some time before our "shop" page is up. If you want to purchase our items, you can just email us at theplumpinay@gmail.com for inquiries and orders. Thank you!
Keep loving your body,Stacy
