The Boudoir Dolls Experience (Stacy)

I have never unleashed my sultry-sexy-minxish side in a photo shoot before. Though I have done a couple of shoots with other photographers, I've never been in a set stripped to nothing but lingerie top and undies. Good thing not a single male was present in the room, or else I'd be uncomfortable to go and be half naked.

When I met the trio behind The Boudoir Dolls--Shayla, Danielle, and Arlene--I had a sense that something would make us click for some strange reason, as their friendly faces and kind aura filled the room. They were the type of photographers that would make you feel really at ease, apparently, to the point where you can bare your skin and let everything out!

This was the very first time I did a boudoir shoot. After receiving the news from Danah that she booked us with The Boudoir Dolls, being the Google-freak that I am, I started googling boudoir photography. I know that boudoir shoots are originally popular for bride-to-bes as they gift their future hubbies sexy and sassy photos to entice them for their honeymoon, but I've found out that this type of sexy shoot (which literally translates to "a woman's bedroom") has become a huge wave to many single ladies as well, as evident in the official website of The Boudoir Dolls. As I clicked to explore their different links, their sheer creativity amazed me, because not only do they nudge single women and future brides to have their very own boudoir shoot, but they also advocate that pregnancy can be sexy as they provide what they call the boudoir bump photography for mom-to-bes too! They certainly encourage all kinds of women to avail their wonderful, confidence-boosting service as I've seen that they had also catered to a woman in her fifties, named Lotty, who's still all fabulous, sexy, and confident as any woman at any age should be! ;)

My experience with The Boudoir Dolls was very empowering. Every click, every flash, and every wonderful moment they captured made me exude sexiness that I didn't know was in me in the first place! The girls were just really amazing, affirming me with every snap of their cameras, exclaiming "That's beautiful!" when they get the perfect angle, and get insanely kilig (that makes Danielle and Shayla do a little jig bursting with happiness and excitement! HAHA!) when they see how wonderful the photos look in their digital cameras' screens.

Seeing how the photos turned out made me go "WOW! Para na talaga akong plus-size model nito ah!" (Wow! I already look like a real plus-size model in these [photos]!). The photos came out beautifully (even more than I expected, to tell you the truth), and to me it seemed like it was taken from a high-fashion shoot, even with the fact that all of the photos were just shot inside a living room! Their creativity and passion really fueled the entire day of the shoot, hence the stunning outcome of the photos. I am nothing but grateful to the three skilled photographers. Their work does not merely consist of capturing beauty on the surface, but with what I've experienced with them, their genuine sincerity unconsciously leads them to pushing more women out of their shell, making them feel that they are beautiful and capable of being sexy and confident.

The girls behind The Boudoir Dolls are (and I'm sure you will agree) women with a purpose. Their deep passion for photography and their desire to serve and please God through their creativity definitely makes them unique and admirable persons.

As stated in their website, they are indeed women empowering women through photography.

And from the bottom of my heart, I mean it when I say I enjoyed every minute with them! I just absolutely loved my experience with Shayla, Arlene, and Danielle! :) I insist that all you plumpies book a shoot with The Boudoir Dolls, and I assure you, you won't regret it. Once you see the final photos of yourself, you'll be surprised to see how hot and sexy you really are, realizing that it was definitely worth it. Trust me, these girls can and will prove to you how sexy you can be to the highest level! ;)

The Boudoir Dolls Experience (Danah)

It takes more than a good eye to make one a real photographer. As for the 3 women behind The Boudoir Dolls, they obviously have more than that. The creativity, passion, and talent of Shayla, Arlene, and Danielle combined are very much reflected in every shot captured.

I first knew about them when my friend posted photos of her on Facebook. They were truly eye-catching because it was a boudoir-themed shoot. Amazed with the stunning beauty of every photo, I just had to look up The Boudoir Dolls myself. As I hopped on over their website, I instantly fell in love with their photography. Their style is very sexy--sensual even--but at the same time very neat, clean, and classy. They also are for women empowerment, hoping to make every woman feel confident and good in her own skin during a photoshoot session. With all these factors combined, I just couldn't resist to take my chance to have our own appointment with them. After several exchange of emails, we've finally set a date.

I was so elated because I know that it will be one heck of a photoshoot that I will never forget. Seeing their finished works, I just can't help but look forward to our set date. My sister had no idea I booked us a session with the dolls, hence her excitement after I told her the great news.

After much anticipation, we finally met the girls! Our official make up artist, Kaycee Lim, gladly offered her beautiful house to be our studio. As we got to know each other, the girls quickly and humbly moved the furniture around to have the perfect set up for the shoot. Before we started, Shayla led us into prayer, as she asked God for creativity, hoping that they glorify Him with the photos they take. By this time, I was completely blown away. To know that these girls want to please God with their work made me all the more impressed and amazed, and it just made me extra psyched to see the final photos.

All through out the shoot, the girls just made me feel so comfortable (I swear I could've stripped down to my birthday suit because they made me feel THAT much at ease), guiding and helping me with the poses and affirming me with very flattering words. In a span of minutes, the girls were no longer strangers to me, they were now more like amigas, making me feel so beautiful, wanting me to shine even brighter. I remember Danielle, the crazy-fun girl, talking to my feet as they were tense in holding some poses. She even caressed them! Her humor definitely kept the mood light and laugh-out-loud happy. Then during breaks, we would talk about the most random things--from personal stuff to body-image topics--they were just more than willing to have real conversations. I even showed them my favorite pole dance video because they were also interested to try it! The warmth and energy they wreaked in the room was enough to make me one joyful model, ready and willing to work it in front of the lenses! To say that the overall experience was fun would be an understatement. I truly wish every Plump Pinay would have the same privilege we had, being photographed by 3 absolutely wonderful, talented, and amiable women. It really is one experience I will never forget.

Hehe :) Having worked with such talented and passionate women who takes their craft to a higher level and purpose is such a privilege (and a rare-find!).
