No, I'm not talking about the singer (though I used to have a crush on him on AI), I'm talking about THE FRAZZLED COOK which was created by the same brilliant people behind Fat Michael's (resto).
Two weekends ago, we celebrated (BTW, celebrate means "to chow" in our family's dictionary) our aunt's thirty-*bleep*th birthday in this cozy restaurant near our home. It's located at Luna Mencias street, and when you pass by that road you'd really be surprised to find a swanky oriental vintage-meets-shabby-chic fine dining restaurant.
That's my uncle posing! :D
The place has a wide collection of books to keep you company while waiting for your order.
Okay, enough talking about the feel of the place, let's get straight to the (yummy) point--THE FOOD!
This is the cheapest item on the menu-- Rosemary Chicken with Mashed Potatoes. It was delicious, but nothing special.
Their version of the Aligue pasta. Just yummy with small caps, if you get what I mean.
My aunt ordered the Grilled Lamb Chops. To me it was a bit rubbery, but maybe that's how my aunt liked it, so I can't complain about that! I'm sure you can tell the waiter specifically how you'd want your lamb cooked.
I can't remember what this was, but basically it's shrimp on rice (HAHA). It was cooked cajun style and was a bit spicy. This one's really delicious, I recommend it.
MY ORDER! It's Spicy Chicken Kebab and I swear it's the best kebab I've ever tasted (so far)! :D I really love the extra kick that the spiciness adds to the kebab. I give it 5 stars! I'm looking forward to going back to The Frazzle Cook (TFC) because of this dish!
TFC SERVES THE BEST ICED TEA. It has a secret ingredient that will make you want more! I'm guessing they add a hint of vanilla to it? Not sure though, my taste buds could be misled. All I know is they add something else to that darned ice tea that makes it really good and refreshing! TFC serves wines as well, best paired with their meat dishes.
If you want to go on a date with your lover or with a bunch of pals and experience The Frazzled Cook's delicious creations, visit them at #916 Luna Mencias Street, Barangay Additional Hills, Mandaluyong City. It's best that you make reservations since most of the time they've got a full house. Contact them at +632 782-5980. Safest budget for a complete meal is P400++. :D
