A HUNGRY BEAR WANTS PIZZA!
Angel's Pizza's festive counter and their hardworking waiters!
Danah and I were the only people in the place, and the moment we got ourselves a table, the waiter asked us if we were indeed the guests they had been waiting for. We nodded, and after a couple of minutes, the waiter brought out two large pans of pizzas. And our reaction? O_O plus a little bit of salivating since we skipped dinner and waited until 9pm for this part of the day! :)
PHOOD! Counter-clockwise bottom right corner: Cheesy Melt pocket pizza; Fancy Aloha; Extra Feast; Fried chicken; Angel's Style pizza; Cheesy Burger melt (not in this photo)
We didn't even had the chance to blink--our table was suddenly occupied with more pizzas and a plate of fried chicken and rice! Our reaction: O_O *gulp* PIZZA PAR-TAY FOR TWO TONIGHT!
This is the Cheesy Burger pocket pizza, definitely a must try! :) It's a "pocket pizza" because it has two layers of thin dough which act like pockets and once you take a bite, there's more melted cheesy goodness inside! YUM! :)
This is another pocket pizza, the Cheesy Melt with lots of pepperonis sandwiched in between! :) Danah and I loved both the pocket pizzas. It's superb! Plus, it wasn't too oily like other pizzas.
NOMNOMNOMNOM Having my first slice of heavenly pizza! :)
One of their pan pizzas, Angel's Style pizza. Chunks of chicken barbeque, garlic, and mushrooms are topped on gooey melted cheese on a thick dough. It had a really unique flavor and I also liked it! :) As seen in the photo with almost the pizzas, there were two more pan pizzas that we tried. The Fancy Aloha is similar to Hawaiian-style pizzas, but what makes it distinct was its cheesy gravy base. It's not our exactly favorite but it's good nonetheless.
I LIKE IT HOT!
The Extra Feast pizza, which had vegetable and meat toppings. It wasn't different from other "everything-on-it" pan pizzas, which makes it just okay. Nothing special.
The delicioso fried chicken! :) It was cooked just right--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and seasoned to perfection. It wasn't THAT salty too, which is always a good thing for me, that's why we were able to eat the chicken by itself unlike other fried chickens that are too salty that you really need to pair it with plain rice to balance the flavor.
Time for dessert! :) They only had very few selections on their dessert list (which are all pastries): carrot cake, vanilla cake with pudding, and brownies. Out of the three that we've tried, Danah and I both agree that the brownies was best dessert on the menu! The waiter heated the brownies and it was served with chocolate buttercream icing that went perfect with it! AAAAAAH! TALKING ABOUT IT MAKES ME WANT TO HAVE SOME NOW. :(
HAPPY AND SATISFIED! :) With Annesy, Angel's Pizza's PR.
