She puts the UMP in PLUMP! (#15)

I am so excited to show you our feature plumpie of the week! :) She's my schoolmate Fran's (who has been featured here too--click here) older sister, and when I saw her photos on my news feed on Facebook, I just died. I love her style, I love her pretty face, and I love her confidence! SHE IS JUST UTTERLY SEXY AND GORGEOUS!!!

Meet Nicole!

What is your size?

I wear a size 18 for bottoms and a 16 for tops.

Who is your style icon?

I follow a fashion blog of this girl from Paris: Saks in the City. I’m guessing her name is Saks? Haha! Well, that’s what I call her.

My sister and I were browsing LOOKBOOK one time and Saks immediately stood out among the other girls’ posts, not just because she’s plump but because of the confidence she exudes through her photos. I’ve been an avid fan ever since. If you don’t already know about her, check out her blog: http://saksinthecity.blogspot.com/ [I love Sakina! I'm a fan too! :) Her page has long been bookmarked on my laptop!]

Favorite store?

Dorothy Perkins, Forever21, SM Department Store, and vintage thrift shops (yes, you can make UKAY-UKAY sound fashionable J).

Favorite pieces of clothing to wear? Off the top of my head: my denim jacket from Gap, black skinny jeans from Forever 21, floral tops from Dorothy Perkins, my sister’s black and white striped coat with a black bow from SM (which I force myself into--haha!), I can go on and on...

How do you want people to see your style? Stylish and classic.

Where do you get your confidence from?

From my family and friends. When I feel like random people stare at me, I start to think I may be inappropriately dressed. But then the people I’m with always reassure me that there’s nothing wrong with my clothes and they tell me that I “carry it well.” Thanks to them, I’ve always felt comfortable in my own skin.

And of course, I also get my confidence from the clooooothes, and the makeup, and the shoes, and the EVERYTHING. Haha! You know that feeling you get when you wear something new and you feel like the prettiest girl in the room? That’s a great ego boost don’t you think?

How important are other people’s perception of you to you?

I’d be lying if I said that I didn't care what other people think of me. As I mentioned earlier, I get really uncomfortable when people stare at me while I’m wearing a short skirt or a sleeveless top. I try not to dwell on it too much though since it does more harm than good.

I try as much as possible to take in all the positive comments and discard all the negative ones. Besides, at the end of the day, what really matters is that you come to accept and love yourself for who you are. The rest will follow. J

"I think the quality of sexiness comes from within. It is something that is in you or it isn't and it really doesn't have much to do with breasts or thighs or the pout of your lips."--Sophia Loren

Message to other Plump Pinays:

Don’t let your size be a hindrance from what you want to do or what you want to be. If you wanna wear a bikini, DO IT! If you wanna dive into the pool, don’t be afraid of making an extra splash! Life is too short; enjoy every single moment of it.

As long as you feel good about yourself, it’ll show and other people will respect and admire you for that.

Get rid of that mentality where you think that certain clothes can only look good on skinny girls. Don’t let fashion magazines dictate which type of clothes will go with this body type or that body type. Yes, they may be right, but it doesn't mean you should limit yourself to one particular look. If you see a style you like, try it out for yourself and I guarantee you’ll look uh-ma-zing! J

May we all learn from Nicole--a certified Plump Pinay! She's definitely got style AND body-love wisdom. ;)

Plump love,
Stacy

FAVE FIVE!

We've decided to make shopping a bit easier for you, plump ladies! :) And we hope that this post will help.

We know how hard it is to go inside a store after already falling in love with the clothes on the mannequins displayed, rummage through the items and realize how perfect they are for you, only to find out that they DON'T HAVE YOUR SIZE.

It's frustrating. It makes you ask WHY THE HELL DON'T THEY MAKE CLOTHES BIGGER?? Big girls are trendy too you know, and we don't like wearing lousy tops that make us look dowdy. SO WHY THE HELL WON'T THEY MANUFACTURE BIG SIZES?!

Am I right? Sure I am. I've been there a lot of times. But luckily some stores now do have plus sizes, and I don't mean maternity wear! HOORAY!

So we've made a list of our top five favorite stores that manufacture up-to-date clothes for us chunky women (stores on the list aren't arranged in order). :)

Dorothy Perkins

Caters to: UK size 8 to 22
We are DP freaks. From basic tees and long-sleeves that are really comfortable for casual wear to embellished and bejeweled dresses perfect for a night out, this store is full of items that are worth buying, it'll make you realize how indecisive you are. What I really love though are their jeans! I'm a shirt-and-jeans girl and I hate jeans that become uncomfortable already soon after eating. DP has got a variety of jeans in different cuts and washes available in big sizes so it's comfy to wear and doesn't make you look like a muffin.

MEGA MALL DEPARTMENT STORE

If you love cheap finds like we do, then you'd probably enjoy shopping in this fashion emporium. Here they've got a wide range of clothes that are fashionable and easy on the pocket. I'm certain that you will find something that suits your style whether you're going for a preppy, girly, funky, or edgy look. This is also were we usually snag lovely pairs of shoes! :) We've got plus size feet too (we both wear size 10-11 shoes) and we are just fans of Parisian Plus shoes (sizes range from size 10-14 me thinks) because their style and quality are impressive while still being extremely pocket friendly. I once bought a pair for only P450!

FOREVER 21

Caters to: Small to Large
I've got two words. Trendy and affordable. Those are the two reasons that got me obsessing over their stuff. Though they only have a minimal size range, their sizes are scant and inconsistent which means that some clothes are actually bigger than the size suggests. :) My mom is a size 16 and some of their large items fit her well. Their myriad accessories got me drooling too! (I overheard a boyfriend of a random shopper ask her after the girl picked out cross earrings: Are you sure gusto mo isuot si Jesus sa tenga mo? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! BOYS.)

GREENHILLS TIANGGE (FLEA MARKET)

Another inexpensive shopping haven! :) I love going around and getting myself dizzy in all the twists and turns inside Shoppesville. Definitely worth all the nifty and cool stuff they got over there. You may not notice, but there are actually quite a number of tiangges that specifically cater to plus size girls though they're a bit hard to find. I can't exactly point you the direction of these stalls because they reshuffle their positions quarterly, I think. But I'm 100% sure that there are fat-friendly stores in Greenhills--you're just gonna have to explore the place and discover which tiangges have the clothes you want. :)

MARKS AND SPENCER

More for the working big girls. They've got a wide array of sizes starting from UK size 6 up to size 30. They've got basic white tees that hug the body perfectly (you know how other tees wrap itself onto bodies waaaay too tightly that it becomes so unflattering). Their button-down long sleeved tops are recommendable too. I know because my mom buys all of her corporate wear in M&S. Personally, I like their underpants that come in multipacks. My mom gave me 3 sets of 4 a few Christmases ago and ever since they've been my favorite undies because of its funky designs and great quality. M&S also has the BEST BISCUITS IN THE WORLD! I love their Dark Chocolate Digestive Biscuits. It's made of whole-wheat flour so its rich in fiber. The biscuits are coated in dark chocolate so it's healthy and really toothsome as well (the biscuits are also available in milk chocolate).

There ya go! Try visiting these stores the next time you're on "retail therapy" or when you're scouting for fresh clothes. ;) And please share to us your favorite stores that have fat-friendly sizes too!

(None of the photos posted are mine. I just Googled 'em :D)

Keep lovin' that body,
Stacy

She puts the UMP in PLUMP (#8)

When I checked our email account for this blog, I was actually surprised to see a message that wasn't junk mail. It was a REAL EMAIL from a REAL HUMAN BEING! Usually we don't get emails from our readers (though we'd really be MEGA HAPPY if you'd send us emails regarding ANYTHING you want to say), so this was a first and it made me excited to read it. :D

Here's the email which was sent almost a week ago:

Yesterday was my first time to come across your blog. I super love it! I especially love the part of your blog where you show fashionable plumps from all over the world. =) It's very inspiring. Oh! How rude am I that I forgot to introduce myself. Tsk! My name is Jojobabe Mae Rudillas, I am 22 years old, a registered nurse. I am from Cebu but I am currently working here in Shanghai. As far as I could remember, I was skinny for the first 5 years of my life (only). Basically, I was fat my whole life! I must admit that I hated myself for being fat. I used to be really insecure because when I was young, I couldn't join in the dance club of our school. During school presentations, I would not be picked every time I would audition because I was fat and (according to the judges) I would not look good on cute little skirts and sleeveless tops. Being an emotional eater, I would eat to comfort myself, thus the very rapid weight gain.
Fortunately, my family was very supportive of me. They know how I love to dance so they sent me to dance schools and any other art school there is. Finally, years of attending confidence-building seminars paid off. I was able to truly embrace being fat. I was very confident of my body that no matter what my friends would say, I would not be turned down by their BABOY-ish comments about me. It was during that period of my life that I can say I bloomed and people started noticing what I could do instead of what I can't because I'm fat. I even became the president of our high school dance club! AND I was part of almost every presentation in our school--may it be singing, dancing, essay writing and acting activities.
That continued until college. Sometimes, I still feel insecure especially when I see my pretty, skinny, and taken friends. Sometimes, I feel like the reason why I am still single is because of my body. But what the hell? Why would I want to be with a man who's not willing to accept how huggable and shapely my body is?
Thanks for taking time to read this you two. =) I love your style by the way. I hope I could be featured as your Plump Pinay of the week.

First of all, I cannot help but feel connected to Jojobabe's story. I remember how I would be turned down whenever I auditioned to be in the cheer leading competition because I was "fat", way back in high school. To make me feel better, they'd put me in the PEP squad. It made me feel like my body was a burden, a hindrance to my passion. Thank God I instantly came to senses, realizing that we should not let ourselves be put in a box by someone else, just because we don't fit the mold they dictate. WE CAN ACHIEVE OUR DREAMS, BE WHOEVER WE WANT TO BE, EXCEL AND SHINE, NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL WE ARE. We all have the right to be excellent and marvelous. PERIOD. I'm so glad to know that someone out there is not letting her body stop her from being awesome. If only more women today knew how to work with their bodies, the world would be full of confident, secure, and bright ladies.

What is your size? US size 14-16

Who is your style icon?

My style icon is Victoria Beckham because she is classy. I also look up to Katy Perry because of her vintage look and because she doesn't care about what other people think of her outfit. Locally, I like Ann Curtis because her style is playful and chic.

Favorite Store? I love Zara and H&M because they have my size! I am also a huge fan of ukay-ukay (thrift shops)! They have everything--grandma tops, cadet cardigans and vintage items.

Favorite outfit to wear? I am a fan of colorful dresses. It brightens up everything. I also love anything vintage -- big buttons, puffy sleeves and all. I love pretty cardigans and lacy tops.

How do you want people to see your style?

I want people to see my style as something very flattering and not too daring. I want them to see it as something they can take inspiration from.

Where do you get your confidence from?

I get mine from confidence-boosting blogs like this one. Sometimes, when I'm a little low [on confidence], I just look at the pages of my scrapbooks and reminisce about all the things I have

achieved in life and all the people I have made happy.

How important are other people’s perception of you to you?

Before, it mattered a whole lot to me. It would make or break my day. I would be very emotional if I hear some side comments about how fat I am. However, I can honestly say that right now, I can easily shrug it off and let it pass. Though sometimes, I still can't help but get affected by some negative comments. After all, I am still a work in progress. As with the positive perceptions, I remember it by heart.

Message to other Plump Pinays:

Stay beautiful and sexy! Surround yourself with people who love you and accept you for who you are. They will help a lot in building your confidence. Embrace your body and acknowledge your beauty, but don't rush on achieving self-acceptance. It takes years and years of work. Don't be too hard on yourself. Never say never to anything that's labeled "FOR SKINNY GIRLS ONLY!" Long live the pretty, hot, and thick babes! =)

Amazingly said! :) We are so happy to be a part in boosting your confidence, Jojobabe! Continue contradicting what the society dictates a dancer must look like! SHAKE THAT FINE BOOTY, GIRL!

Plump love,
Danah

Verbatim (#2)

One of my idols and serious girl-crush, Tara Lynn:

"We get to eat ice cream and still get to work."
-- Tara Lynn on being a plus-size model

Stacy

My belly roll's a show off.

Here are some shots of me hosting the party (with my lovely twin, of course!) "Drive-Thru" that we organized for the freshmen students of our university.

...and my belly roll shared the spotlight with me. :)

GASP! BULGING FAT! EEEEEEEW. (Me mocking people who are contemptuous of fat people or anything fat-related.)

Seriously, I don't care. I saw this photo uploaded by my friend in his Facebook account, and if it were the insecure old me who saw this, I would probably be texting and begging my friend to delete the damn unflattering photo. But, I've learned (AND
definitely still learning) to accept my flaws bit by bit and not be ashamed of them. Besides, most women have hidden flaws, I just prefer not to keep on fussing over mine to conceal it. :)

Okay, let me explain this picture. :)) As an ice breaker, we played games, and the game masters picked me to judge who among them boyz has the "pinaka-matigas na bicep (hardest bicep)."

This is me judging one of the contestants and not being able to withhold the overwhelming emotion I felt after having a feel of his chiseled arm. HAHA! I am such a dork. Couldn't even control my fez. OH WELL, WHAT'S NEW.

Here's the last photo taken of me and my bulging stomach. This was when I was talking to some freshmen students, trying with all my best to make them feel comfortable in the most un-awkward way I could. :D

I know some people might find this so shameless of me, to post photos of myself starring my flaws. But the truth of the matter is, I've stopped worrying about what other people will think of me. I've stopped being overly conscious of how people see me-- if they find me attractive enough, if they think I'm "hot" enough, if they think I'm good enough.

As I've matured, I realized that my body and my looks are just the tip of the huge iceberg of the totality of who I am (no pun intended). It saddens me when people stereotype and put me in a box. OH PLEASE DON'T PUT ME IN A BOX. I AM TOO BIG TO FIT IN SMALL BOXES. There is definitely much more to who I am than my body.

Personally speaking, I feel much more freer not conforming to the fascism standards of beauty dictated by whoever-the-hell group of people imposed it. I like the way the I look, and I've started (and currently continuing) living a healthy lifestyle. If people think my protruding belly is such a disgrace, it's their problem, and it's their choice to stop looking at me, and my body.

Stacy

I dare you to be daring!

Since I am a chunky girl, I veer away from clothes that would show my arms and my thighs and hide them in other flattering tops that would emphasize my other features like my neck and chest area--when I say chest I mean CHEST, literally. Not breasts. I am not well-endowed in that aspect as you could notice--and my legs. When this year began, part of my resolution was to take a step in becoming bold and brazen when it came to fashion. Every time I see a chubby or fat girl (NOTE: FAT IS NOT AN INSULT) that's donning something fiercely stylish, it would unconsciously make me turn my head and stare at her, even to the point of gawking. Then I'd think to myself, "Wow, she carries herself really well." As what we've been constantly reminding all of you in our blog posts, sexiness is all about the confidence you exude. It doesn't matter what kind of body shape or size you have. It's truly from what you emanate from within.

So this post is a bit of a confession. I haven't been really living out my advocacy as a Plump Pinay. (Okay, hear me out first before you start thinking what a huge hypocrite I am and start posting hate-comments. Just read on. There's a great epiphany ahead.) I settled on being the one empowering other girls and being happy in their own successes when they finally come to realize how beautiful they are. But just recently, I told myself I'm done with being just an encourager. This time, I am taking a step towards a different path by being a role model to chubby girls. I want to take the first step to being bold so that others may follow. I want you plumpies to know that you too can be in style while being criminally sexy at the same time. ;) That you too can wear whatever you want, as long as it makes you feel beautiful and confident.

I would never normally wear spaghetti straps and fitted tops, because it's just not me. Like I said, in any given occasion, I'd always hide my arms and my tummy. But just recently, I remembered my resolution, and the little voice in my head that had a British accent (Seriously. I don't even know why it's British.) urged me to make my resolution a reality. It told me that it's time to take risks when it comes to fashion. Besides, how would I know what would look great on me if I don't even try wearing new outfits, right? So I decided that I'd wear something new and something fun. :D

Two weeks ago, we finally received the balikbayan box that our aunt sent us all the way from Canada. She shipped us lots of clothes and shoes just in time for the summer. (THANKS ATE LISETTE! *kisses*) Of course, since those clothes are meant to be worn during the hottest season ever, its styles are for baring some skin. I tried them on and felt glad (and relieved) they all fit me well. :) So the past Saturday, my mom, my twin, and I decided to bond over shopping and dinner. I didn't know what to wear and the yellow bustier top that my aunt sent me caught my attention. I tried it on and after the endless praises of my twin on how good I looked in it (yeah yeah, I'm gullible :D), she finally convinced me to go out in public wearing the spaghetti strap, bustier top.

I didn't notice that I was stepping on tissue paper. :))

My outfit! :) @ Bonifacio High Street ♥

Candid shot after seeing the friggin' tissue || Our Saturday night dinner @ Italianni's

Honestly and bluntly speaking, nothing really miraculous or profound happened after I dared myself to wear something skimpy. It's not like I felt like a goddess that night and I just all of a sudden, completely loved my whole being to the brim. No, it's definitely not like that. But at least I am one step closer in appreciating my body more. At least I am one notch higher in being REALLY comfortable in my own skin and loving my body-- this complete, chunky, healthy body that I've been blessed with. :)

I probably felt beautiful because I finally convinced myself that I can carry what I was wearing well. I then realized that when it comes to your appearance, it's just really about how an ensemble would make you feel. It's not even about fashion. It's just being able to find the right clothes that would flatter your body shape and make you feel beautiful and confident. In my opinion, clothes cannot really make you sexy. They can just make you FEEL sexy, and then how you carry yourself will what make you LOOK and BECOME sexy. Also, it's going for risks and breaking your own humdrum when it comes to style. You'll never know how a new piece of clothing would change your sense of self-esteem if you won't even take a chance.

A piece of advice to all you plumpies: Don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes, we keep on criticizing and magnifying our flaws which keep us from wearing something that could make us feel sexy, because we get too self-conscious. But just enjoy fashion! It's not something that should be taken too seriously. Ask your close friends for their opinions. I'm pretty sure they'll be honest and will give you constructive criticism when it comes to style. ;) Another way to spice up your everyday outfits is to get ideas from "fatshionista" blogs (click the links on the left column of this site under "Links to More Plumpiness"). Trust me, it will really amaze you how these girls can just cat walk through life with sheer awesomeness and curviness. :)

And lastly...

Don't let your body size or the way you look keep you from being awesome. That's too shallow a reason to hinder yourself from being truly happy and from realizing how great you can be.

NEW YEAR, SAME OLD PLUMP BODY! :)

Prior to this year, every January 1st of a new year, I had aways resolved to lose weight. ALWAYS. It had always been number one on my list. But ever since I've come to love myself wholly and seen past all my flaws, reducing my weight has become the least of my priorities, or not even considered as one at all.

I sure as hell gained weight because of the Christmas feasts and parties. (Those were the most plethoric meals of the year last year! Good times.) But I am not at all in a frenzy to get back to a "sexier weight" (unlike most people). Besides, I'm through overindulging every time I eat anymore. The extra effort I put into stuffing myself and chewing all those delicious goodness are only worth the holiday food. :) Now that everything's over and done (and back to normal), so is my gluttony (actually that depends on the food laid out in front of me). :P

So... YEAR 2010! YAAAAAAAAAAAAY! My idol (well, every big girl's idol, really), Crystal Renn, is just absolutely stellar on the 18-page editorial of this month's issue of Elle (Canada) Magazine. I'm really happy that plus-size models are slowly and gently making their way in the fashion industry. I fierily hope that the same thing happens here in our country. I hope that magazines start featuring more real and curvy girls, showcasing what the society has labelled as flaws as something just natural and beautiful. I dream that someday, people in the fashion and magazine industry here in the Philippines would shift their perspective and agree with me that not only stick-figured women can be glamorous models who deserve to be on the cover of high-fashion magazines.

Enjoy the photos! *Courtesy of the Corpulent blog.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, SEXY PLUMPS! Continue being a real Plump Pinay. Resolve to be as sexy--you know what I mean girls, it's all about the attitude ;)-- and endearingly confident as you can be! :)

Zaftig Lovin',

Have a BIG, grand Christmas, plumpies! :)

'Tis the season to gain MORE weight! :) A lot of people we know have been fretting already because we all know that Christmas season is the most fattening of them all--starting on the 25th of December (actually, not even. We all have been stuffed in one of those pre-Christmas Christmas parties!) up to the first week of January-- and in between those days are the most gluttonous celebrations ever!

But before the It's-Okay-To-Gain-Weight,-It's-Christmas! pep talk, we'd like to ask...

Have you found Christmas? :)

Every year, adults dread this season because to them it's all about the stressful Christmas shopping that they have to squeeze in on their tight and busy schedule. On the other hand, kids become angels when December comes, as a quid pro quo for the all the gifts they will be getting. But what is Christmas without all the typical and superficial elements we've associated with it? Will Christmas still be the same to you without the grand feasts, the ang paos from godparents, and the gifts from relatives?

If you genuinely know the true meaning of Christmas, then your answer is probably yes. But if you can't picture Christmas being the same happy and amiable celebration without the luxurious meal and the material presents, then let's be reminded of what we're really celebrating and rejoicing for when Halloween's over and done, and the weather gets chilly and cozy.

Let's remember how God brought light to the world. ♥ Let's remember how God's unconditional love saved humanity, through His one and only son, Jesus. :)

HAVE A MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS SEXIES! :) And don't worry about your clothes reducing its size every time the calendar turns to page December. We can always blame the washing machine for that! XD But seriously, this season only comes once a year, so just revel in eating! Dieting and suppressing yourself from all the good (NOTE: REALLY GOOOOOOOOOD) food during this holiday season is like going to your favorite store and swearing you won't buy anything while being conscious that you do have a pocketful of money. IT'S JUST PURE TORTURE!

So on the night of Noche Buena, rid yourself from all the guilt. And go ahead, get yourself another plate. ;)

Again, Merry Christmas! :*

An insightful insight

Everyday, I encounter numerous people, in differing genders, complain and say negative things about specific areas they come across on their bodies -- I hate this part right here (that made me sing'a :D), I dislike that, it needs a little nip and tuck. I've conversed with a lot of people, especially girls, who after I compliment respond with a countering retort. I sometimes just wanna smack them in the head to knock some sense in them, and tell them how awful this habit of body criticizing is (and how immodesty can be such a turn off). You see people, whatever you tell your body, it believes, and then later it materializes (never underestimate the power of the brain as it is the control center of our entire body).

I've never complained about my body for the longest time. Yes, there are moments when I've put on some pounds and don't really feel beautiful for a day, but then I never verbalize it nor whine when this happens. I just focus on my other favorite features and highlight them and go on my own merry way. Why? Because I enjoyed every moment of eating and celebrating with the very special people in my life through fancy dinners and feasts. I've only got myself to blame. Plus it [whining and complaining all the time] can be very irritating so I don't yammer about weight gain. So what if I love food? Food is just one thing my family delights in too much, and I don't fathom why more and more women resist and treat it like it's a terrible creation of some sort. I love my body. It may be full of imperfections and adipose, but heck, I love it. It's the only one I've got.

So what's so important about loving one's body anyway? WELL, EVERYTHING. I'm pretty sure you've heard of the saying "look good, feel good", but I wanna turn things around for a change-- “feel good to look good”. And I sincerely live by this statement. How the hell can you start feeling good about yourself when every time you look at the mirror or step on that weighing scale, all you utter are comments of disappointments because you don't embody a certain look or you don't weigh a certain number? The answer is simple: you have to really feel good, as in revel in what you have. I have had it with people wanting to look different than they already do. YOU ALREADY ARE DIFFERENT. YOU DON’T HAVE TO FIT IN AND JUMP IN THE BANDWAGON OF THE WHOLE MODEL HOOPLA. Don't you think it's about time you realize that all the media are showing are nothing but false, one-sided standards of beauty that only make you want to hate yourself? They're trying to make beauty monotonous, when it should be varying with tones and color. Your body is precious. It is unique. Yes, you may have grown a little thicker, but didn't you enjoy every indulgence that led you to that new weight, that new look, that new shape? Why don’t you work with what you have? I think the pressure brought by the media is just too much. Their obsession on the aesthetics has gone too far. Look around you, I'm sure you know a person who is obsessed with her body image TOO MUCH that it's driving her stark insane. There's nothing wrong with wanting to lose weight, don't get the concept of this blog wrong. But for what intentions? For beauty's sake? Or for health's sake? And up to what extent are you willing to take to lose it? No, really. Weight loss has never been about health a long, long time ago. It has been about the social force to fit in or to be truly marked attractive. REALLY? IS THE NUMBER ON YOUR WEIGHING SCALE THE GAUGE OF YOUR ATTRACTIVENESS? If so, I’m sorry honey, but you’re acting pathetic. This mentality has made people lose their awareness of personality. It has made people become beauty-hungry and beauty-dependent, that it made them forget about character and charisma and confidence, which I think are the honest marks of one's true beauty.

Now, I beseech you, curvy women, to embrace your corpulent, sexy structures. Be a little nicer to yourself. We are all lumps of flesh walking in this earth, it’s just that you are gifted with a bigger chunk. I have said this before and I will say it again: Love your body, it’s the only you’ve got. Trust me, it will kindle the flame of gorgeousness in you, then after that, it will naturally radiate out.

I like playing with my portly belly. So what? ;)

Plump Love,
Danah
